Diesel filter element, air filter element, and oil filter element are three important filter parts of excavators. The most important point in the maintenance of the three filters is to use genuine oil, so as to ensure the filter accuracy of the filter element to prevent debris from entering, causing improper wear and failure of the excavator. The following is the maintenance and maintenance of the three filters.
1. Maintenance and maintenance of diesel filters
1. Storage of diesel filter
When the diesel is stored in its own oil tank, the nozzle and the opening of the oil tank should be protected by a cover or stopper to prevent rain and dust from entering the diesel.
Example: In cold areas, when the diesel is replaced with summer diesel in early spring, in order to prevent freezing when the atmospheric temperature is low, a diesel hose with a preheating resistance wire is used. When not in use in summer, the pipes are placed randomly, and the pipes are covered with mud. Since it is possible that the inhalation resistance will increase and foreign matter such as dust and sand will enter the diesel oil, a small valve for switching between winter and summer should be installed. Another: it is forbidden to use fire to heat the diesel fuel.
2. Replacement of diesel filter
1） Due to the dirt, sand and dust on the diesel filter element, once these foreign objects enter the filter element when it is replaced, it will cause damage to the diesel pump and injector. To prevent foreign matter from sticking to the filter element, a filter element cover should be used for protection.
2）Pay attention to the reverse installation of the rubber seal, which will cause the filter to be difficult to install tightly. Tightening with a filter wrench can cause deformation. Insufficient installation or deformation of the cylinder may cause air and garbage in the fuel to enter, causing poor engine operation or damage to the fuel pump and injector.
3） Replacement of the pre-filter: the joint surface of the fuel pre-filter and the main body are completely close to the installation, and there should be no gaps in the combined surface. Improper installation will cause air and garbage in the fuel to enter, causing poor engine operation or damage to the fuel supply pump and injector.
a. The O-ring cannot be used again. If the O-ring is used again, it will cause the O-ring to expand, and the O-ring will protrude and be clamped into the screw part so that the surface cannot be fully attached.
b. After improving to SK200-8, the fuel pre-filter element is equipped with coarse filter and fine filter; according to the color classification of the belt, it can be divided into yellow and black; the two filter elements cannot be installed in reverse (the upper part is the coarse filter, and the lower part is the fine filter ), the filter will be clogged quickly when it is installed backwards.
3. Exhaust of diesel filter
1. Unscrew the plug first for diesel filter exhaust. Be sure to clean the area around the plug. Do not remove the plug completely to prevent garbage from entering.
2. Do not overtighten the exhaust bolt, otherwise the thread may be damaged. If the thread is damaged, air and garbage in the fuel will enter, causing poor engine operation or damage to the fuel supply pump and injector.
2. Inspection and maintenance of the air filters
1. Inspection and installation of air filter
Don’t judge the life of the filter element by the naked eye-the differential pressure alarm is the most reliable; never use knocking to clean the filter element; unless absolutely necessary, do not leave the air filter open for too long.
2. When installing the new main filter element, make sure that the safety filter element has been installed in place, and the main filter element cannot be pushed in with the force of the end cap.
3. Cleaning the air filter
1) Open the rear cover of the cab and take out the outer air filter element of the air conditioner; take out the inner air filter element of the air conditioner from under the seat of the cab.
2) Please use compressed air to clean the inner and outer air filter elements. When installing the air conditioner inner air filter element, please insert the UP side upward. The air filter inside the air conditioner is cleaned every 500 hours, and the outside air filter of the air conditioner is cleaned every 250 hours. (This time is only a reference value, please clean in advance in dusty places)
3) Clean both sides of the outlet end and check the ash discharge valve (if the ash discharge valve of the air filter assembly is damaged, please replace it immediately, if the dust cannot be removed in time and effectively, it will shorten the life of the filter element) while pulling it straight out, Gently rotate the filter element back and forth. When replacing the outer filter for the sixth time, please replace the inner filter at the same time.
Air filter replacement time: Replace it every 2000 hours. If the working environment is very bad, it is recommended to replace it early to avoid the air filter element from working badly and affecting the normal operation of the excavator.
3. Maintenance and replacement of oil filter element
1. Replacement time: the first replacement is 50 hours, the second is 500 hours, and every 500 hours thereafter.
2. Reasons for regular replacement: The oil filter element is of filter paper type. When the oil passes through the pores of the filter paper, it is filtered. The filter element is contaminated and will gradually become clogged, so it should be replaced regularly.
Note: Diesel filter element, air filter element and oil filter element need to be replaced regularly, and the environment with low wind, less dust and no dust should be selected during maintenance and replacement.
