First, during the operation of the engine, the oil in the lubrication system will constantly become dirty. First, foreign impurities, such as dust in the air, enter the crankcase through breathing tubes, filler ports, etc .; It is the product of the oxidation process of the motor oil itself, such as various organic acids, coke bitumen, and carbides; and water leaking into the oil pan. These impurities can promote the wear and tear of parts and the resulting corrosion.
The oil flows in the engine, and at the same time as lubricating the parts, the impurities attached to the surface of the parts are washed away. The washed impurities are suspended in the oil under the action of the oil cleaning factor, and the oil flows randomly.
As it passes through the machine filter, impurities will be filtered out, and the filtered clean oil will re-enter the lubrication system for circulation. The premise is that your oil filter has a very good filtering effect.
So here comes the problem.
If the filtering effect of the machine filter is not good, the filter paper of the inferior oil filter is of poor quality. If it is immersed in the oil for a long time, the filter paper itself has a poor filtering effect in a high temperature and high pressure environment. At the same time, a large amount of paper dust is also generated, resulting in engine lubrication. The oil circuit of the system is blocked or the parts are worn abnormally. In severe cases, the engine will not be oiled, resulting in severe engine damage or scrap.
Due to the poor rubber toughness and the high-temperature aging and cracking of the gasket of the sealing parts of the inferior oil filter, the oil is prone to leak out at the interface between the filter and the cylinder, causing oil leakage and poor engine heat dissipation. Will burst the cylinder.
Summary: It is true that the oil is selected well, but most people always ignore the importance of the machine filter, and the machine filter should not be neglected during maintenance. Good motor oil is reflected through machine filtration. If the filter does not produce a filtering effect, the oil will continue to circulate in the engine with impurities, causing early wear of the engine’s internal parts.
