Oil bath air filter maintenance and maintenance

Structure and principle
The oil bath type air filter is divided into an upper and a lower casing (there is an inlet and an outlet port on the casing), and a filter wire and the like which are wound by a wire in the upper casing, and an oil pool in the lower casing, and an oil pool Quantitative oil, as shown below.
The working principle is as follows: air enters the air filter housing from the air inlet, rushes toward the surface of the oil along the intake pipe, then changes direction and passes through the filter to the outlet.1

After the air enters the air inlet, a part of the dust in the dusty air adheres to the oil by the inertia of the airflow. Another part of the dust collides with the oil surface with the air flow, causing the oil to produce oil mist.
The oil mist is very light and it passes through the metal screen together with the redirecting airflow. The metal filter has a plurality of continuous S-shapes and is wound in multiple layers with a certain density. As the air containing the oil mist passes, the oil mist is blocked by the screen and wets the screen. As the intake of the engine continues to increase, more and more oil mist and dust are brought to the filter screen. The oil mist gradually forms oil droplets and falls, and the dust adhering to the metal mesh is washed down, thus forming an oil flow. The cycle forms an oil bath phenomenon that enhances the filtration.
maintenance

The oil bath air filter cannot be used alone on the forklift. It is combined with a dry air filter to form a dry + oil bath air filter system with secondary filtration.

Use an oil bath air filter to maintain a specified oil level to prevent oil loss during operation. It is generally not necessary to add additional oil during the 2 maintenance period unless the oil is drawn into the engine.

The driver should regularly check the oil level and oil quality changes. When the dust in the oil pool reaches half the depth of the oil pool or the oil viscosity in the oil pool becomes larger, the oil should be cleaned and replaced in time.

The oil bath air filter is sensitive to the inclination. The air filter should be installed at an angle of less than 30° after maintenance. If the angle of inclination is too large, it may cause a decrease in filtration efficiency and may even cause oil to be drawn into the engine. Oil bath air filters are more frequently maintained than dry air filters.
